So I missed tonight's episode due to work and was unable to record it so I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can find this episode and past episodes from this season online. I would greatly appreciate any help about where to find them.
Thanks.

New episode starts soon!

Since it's the last one for this year, I hope it goes out with a bang (of course, an A/O bang would be nice).

I have babelfished some phrases, but of course I fear that they are completely ruined by the process. I offer my problems.

I received word there was a delivery for me, do you have it here?
J'ai reçu le mot il y avait une livraison pour moi, vous l'avez ici? (or C'est ici?)

I need the descriptor one would call a respected older man that one teases from time to time. A grandfather/older uncle type figure. I don't really want to go with M'sieur if there is a more descriptive phrase.

Then I wanted something that would be the equvilent of [a thousand blessings on your house] and ended up with mille bénédictions which I do not know is even considered something one might say in coversation.

ANCHOR (TV-14)

THE “ANCHOR BABIES” OF IMMIGRANT FAMILIES ARE REPEATEDLY BEING MURDERED, AND THE CASE PUTS IMMIGRATION SUPPORTERS AGAINST THE RADICAL FANS OF A HOT-HEADED TALK SHOW HOST.

When two young girls are similarly murdered a little over a month apart, Detective Odafin Tutuola (Ice-T) decides to investigate the gruesome crimes. After a third killing, Fin discovers that all three children were “anchor babies” of immigrant families, and reaches out to the Center of Immigrant Services. After sifting through the Center’s hate mail, and witnessing a fight between immigration lawyer Randall Carver (guest star John Larroquette) and Joe Thagard (guest star Thomas Sadoski), a fanatical follower of a xenophobic talk show host, Fin begins to narrow in on the killer. Also starring: Mariska Hargitay (Detective Olivia Benson), Chris Meloni (Detective Elliot Stabler), Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch), Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen), Tamara Tunie (Dr. Melinda Warner), and B.D. Wong (Dr. George Huang).

Okay so here I am, just sitting here watching wrestling on USA, when all of the sudden,
a commercial for an SVU Marathon comes on. Of course, I get excited, up until they show
what they've named this marathon.

"More than Partners Marathon"

See now I don't have a problem considering it's SVu and I can watch it for hours, but I mean
come on, it's like everyone is feeding the fire with all this EO stuff. It's like no one is putting
into consideration all of the other shippers.

oy vey.
just thought i'd rant about it lol

By the way...

Myself,[info]2headed_turtles , and [info]zennie will be on F4F radio this Thursday chatting about Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fics if any SCC fans out there are interested. Should be a fun conversation. Click here for the details...

Notification System

  • Dec. 7th, 2009 at 1:15 PM
**FINAL EDIT Thu Dec 10 02:15:47 UTC 2009**

So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.

And finally some answers to some questions:
